TJ has been named in this year’s Solent 250 listing, which celebrates the top private independent companies in the region by annual sales turnover.
The Solent 250 is the annual ranking compiled by The Business Magazine. Companies in the list are either start-ups or have moved their headquarters into the Solent area from elsewhere.
The prestigious listing acts as a gauge of the region’s economic performance. The 250 companies contribute significantly to the UK’s GDP, with many holding leading positions globally in their sector.
As a Solent 250 company, TJ will be invited to attend various events held throughout the year. These events bring together founders and CEOs, providing opportunities to network with each other.
The Business Magazine hosts a Solent 250 Awards Dinner, whereby companies in the listing can put themselves forward for one of six awards and those shortlisted will be invited to attend the awards dinner and ceremony, the date for which has yet to be announced.
The Business Magazine describes the event as “a great chance to recognise the achievements of local businesses.” The six award categories are: International Business of the Year, Leadership Team of the Year, Growth Story of the Year, Employer of the Year, Business of the Year, and Executive of the Year.
